History

Our history is a story of vision. In 1969, a group of area residents saw the need for people to recover from illness in the comfort of their home. They started Franklin County Home Health Agency, a non-profit organization, to meet this need. Over the years, our programs and services have grown to meet the home health care needs of the people who live in the 15 cities and towns of Franklin County. We continue our founders vision for home health care by making sure our staff is prepared to meet changing health care needs. Our history is our future.

Our volunteer Board of Directors, which governs the Agency, represents these communities. To help us provide full service to all our communities, we have a main office is in St. Albans and a branch office in Enosburgh.
