The Hospice Program of Franklin County Home Health Agency hosted the annual Community Remembrance Service on Sunday, November 11, 2007 at the Holy Angels Church in St. Albans.

Over 125 people from our community gathered for an afternoon of remembrance featuring music, poems, reflective readings and a memorial candle-lighting ceremony to honor the memory of people we have loved and lost.  Guests shared conversation and refreshments following the service.

The non-denominational service is held every year in the fall and is free and open to the public.  Franklin County Home Health Agency is grateful to Father Roy and the Holy Angels Church for hosting the event and to The Chevaliers,Ghislaine Firkey, Melinda Lussier for providing music.  We are also grateful for the individuals who read poems or offered reflections:  Linda Montgomery, R.N., Jennifer Martin, Community Relations, Loretta Wood, Hospice Volunteer, Pat O’Shea, Hospice Volunteer, Ellen Holmes-Henry, Hospice Volunteer, Lori Wright, Bereavement & Volunteer Coordinator, Reverend Elizabeth Griffin.  To the community members who also read personal poems or reflections, we thank you for sharing your experiences with us.
