Home Health Staff Complete Specialized Training

As a recipient of a grant from the Workforce Education and Training Fund, Franklin County Home Health Agency (FCHHA) was able to enroll eleven Care Attendants in the LNA training program through Northwest Technical Center.

The training takes place over several months and requires class time, clinical

time, and homework.  FCHHA would like to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of the staff who have recently completed the program:  Julie West, Hilda Hawkins, Gloria Sweet,  Stacey Embury and Stacy Sweet.  Other Care Attendants will be participating in the future sessions of the training.

The Agency also acknowledges the commitment of several Care Attendants who have undertaken this training on their own initiative this past year:  Judi Rainville, Darlene Larose and Kathy Rooney-Leach.

Care Attendants work in the Agency’s Long Term Care Programs providing personal care and support services for elders and people with physical disabilities or chronic diseases.
