1st Annual Blue Jean Ball

We are happy to report that our fundraising dinner on October 17, 2009, the Blue Jean Ball, was a great success.  We met our goal and raised over $15,000!  This is especially exciting for a first-year event.

A crowd of 150 came to the American Legion decked in their blue jeans and ready for fun.  The music of Big Boots Deville rocked on and the dinner by Bob Santini was a huge hit!  Guests were impressed with the vast array of silent and live auction items.  Many people left with great deals on the donated items.

A special thank you to the many board members, staff, hospice volunteers and friends in our community who made this event possible by helping with planning, soliciting or donating auction items, selling tickets, making decorations, setting-up and/or volunteering at the event:  Don Collins, Cindy Bailey, Nancy Blouin, Lori Wright, Deanna McFadzean, Patty Rainville, Becky Richard, Kim Dubie, Janet & Mike McCarthy, Deanna Edwards, Patrick Calecas, Bridget Alexander, Nancy Dulude, Charlotte Adams, Kimberley Volk, Theresa Bolt, Janel Gamm, Megan Daigle, Charlene Baron, Andy Bachand, Annette Blanchard, Cheryl Patterson,
Ed Eaton, Ellen Holmes-Henry, Jan Bushey, Jane Paquette, Jen Archambault, Joan Robtoy, Kathy Marn, Kathy Rooney-Leach, Lillian DeCell, Liza Bray, Sue O’Brien, Diana St. Louis, April Henderson and  Tracey Osterhoudt.  If anyone has been inadvertently left out of this list, we apologize.  Please know that your help was valued highly.

A thank you is also in order for the board, staff, volunteers and many friends who bought tickets and joined the fun that evening!  Thank you for supporting Franklin County Home Health Agency.

We are also grateful to the hundreds of businesses and individuals who donated items for our auctions, and to the following major event sponsors:  Community
National Bank, TD Bank, McDermott’s Dairy Transportation, Hackett, Valine & McDonald, Northwestern Medical Center, Franklin County Rehab & Holiday House Residential Care, Affiliated Associates.
