On Friday, August 24, FCHHA
held its 12th annual
Stroll, Run & Roll fundraising walk-a-thon.
The weather cleared just as people started to
gather around 5:30 and we enjoyed a sunny walk around the health path at
Collins-Perley, followed by hot dogs, ice cream and prize
give-aways. Together with
our sponsors and participants, we raised over $5500 and donations are still coming in.
Thank you to the individuals and businesses who
pledged support to participants and to everyone who sent in donations. A
big THANK YOU to everyone who joined us on Friday and brought their friends
and families, too.
Proceeds support the Patient
Assistance Program of Franklin County Home Health Agency.
The Agency remains committed to providing
care to everyone in need, regardless of his or her
ability to pay. Your support of Stroll, Run & Roll helps the Agency serve
people of all ages in
Franklin County who lack the resources to pay for medically necessary community
based home
health and hospice care.
